What’s For Breakfast?

Today I started making breakfast @ 9:30AM.

Put on a pot of coffee, got the bacon (1/2-lb) ready to microwave (5.5 minutes), and prepped a measuring cup for ‘instant’ grits with 2% milk instead of water (I like it a bit creamier).  Put butter in the skillet and cracked three eggs to cook over-medium.

Served with 3 tsp of apricot jelly, I thoroughly enjoy my breakfast of “bricks and eggs.” (when my daughter was very young, she pronounced grits as bricks - so cute and it has stayed with us ever since) Drank two large cups of coffee with milk as a creamer and Splenda as a sweetener.

While waiting on eggs to solidify enough to flip, did 20 leaning push-ups against the sink / counter (my version of multi-tasking).

Finished up, washed the dishes (prefer not to let them sit around in the sink), and got ready for the rest of Friday.

Spending today (and the rest of the weekend) working on answering two big questions:

1. What do I really want to do with my life?  (heck of a question to ask at 57.5 years old), and

2. How can I combine my interests, ideas, and passions into a single successful business?

That is how my next 60 or so hours will be spent (including some sleep time and church attendance - singing in the choir, etc.) —- trying to answer those two questions while getting some exercise in, more paleo/primal eating, and time with my loving and understand wife (thank you, Lord, for this person in my life).
